I stayed here early March 2012, it wasn't great room was extremely hot and cramped and the TV didn't work. The main issue was the fact that you had to manually lock the door, having never stayed in a hotel with manual door lock a little warning would be nice. During the 1st night a man completely naked bar his... More

It’s a boutique hotel just behind the British Museum, great location and generally a quiet street. I was impressed with reception in that it was friendly and courteous and made you feel like they really wanted your business. It’s one of the hotels where you feel you should drink sherry. Very traditional in style and a nice change from many... More

A great hotel in London, very central & always a good price. It's very quiet & clean. Room service food is very good, didn't get into the restaurant. I love the area, it's really close to Russell St underground & there are always lots of taxis around. Have stayed twice & would stay agan :)

Stayed for 2 nights and it was a very large room on the top floor. It was quiet and very comfortable as our home base while in London for the weekend. Bathroom was large also for European standards. Breakfast was basic, and the fresh croissants were the best thing. Construction was going on while we were there, so there was... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Blooms and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and very quiet. We had an executive room, which by London standards was spacious. The hotel staff we encountered were polite and friendly. The bar closed at 10pm on Saturday night, which ws a little disappointing as we had been to a show... More

Stayed here for 1 night. It was ok but we went with family and so was booked for us. We normally prefer modern hotels so I was unsure about this one anyway. I kept an open mind but both myself and my husband were disappointed. It was too old and the bathroom was a bit dingey and I always like... More

Good location but the hotel is not good. I paid 116 a night, for 2 nights breakfast included. The breakfast was actually just cereal and cold meats and a little bit of toast if the waiter was around and asked you. You can hear everything in the hotel, I could hear people talking and walking around. It was so bad... More

My partner and I booked an overnight stay with a theatre trip. On arrival we were told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Room - of course we were excited! On inspection the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The tiles around the shower were 'pink' where they had not been cleaned and the... More

We stayed here for a long weekend trip just after New Year, and I can't recommend it enough! Superb location, on a quiet, peaceful street right next door to The British Museum, and within walking distance to many major attractions - Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square... Two tube stations are conveniently located a short walk away -... More

I paid just 75 pounds for a room next door (the Grange White Hall) but ended up in an executive double here. The room was spacious and comfortable, with elegant furnishings that made it feel somewhat special. The garden view helped to guarantee a peaceful night. Points to note: climate control is provided by a ceiling fan, and of course... More
