I spent 5 unfortunate nights in this hotel. The tiny room was tatty and the horizontal surfaces sticky. I squashed a moth against a wall & it remained there all week. Every evening I had to ask the receptionist to kill the 15 or so flies that were swarming around my room. The bathroom was down 2 flights of stairs... More

We stayed here because it was across the street from the St. Pancras train station. Great location!!! Lots of pubs in the neighborhood and restaurants. Harrison's pub is in walking distance and was our favorite. Free breakfast in the morning and was very good! Rooms were a bit small as was the bathroom, which has no shower curtain. Comfortable beds!... More

This hotel lacks a lot. The only good thing was our sheets and towels were clean. We asked for a double bed and balcony but we got two single beds. There is not point in asking the staff how to get to places in London as they will tell you they do not know. The room needed a good lick... More

Hotel lobby is wonderful. But the room I was given, 207 was freezing. Central heating was broken and the only heat was from a tiny and damaged oil heater. The decor was awful, the doors were all scuffed and marked. The walls had not been painted for years. The tv was not working and I was not offered a room... More

The worst hotel in the city !!! I stayed for 3 nights after a visit to the hotel screens. The photos are there have nothing to do with reality ! Dirty very small rooms. Beds for "dead people" can not sleep on these mattresses ! The breakfast room is for 5 people maximum... Do not make the mistake I made... More

Slightly cheaper than other hotels in the neighbourhood but far worse. My room was in the basement with a cheap scrap of linen as curtain which did not block the light directly outside the room at all. Other reviews have already made a deal of how awful this dive is, I agree with them.

Looks great on the outside, this in itself must be a form of false advertising. It must be the dirtiest, untidy, poorly maintained building in London, even a fire trap. Staff on the desk are ok but behind that the management are rude and unhelpful once they have your money. Dont go thier, dont recommend it and warm your friends.

A One-Star rating is to high for this 'shed.' Avoid, at all costs! The website photos, and the entrance foyer, give an nice impression. The dream ends there. I cannot believe anyone dare offer such a disgustingly filthy place for visitors to our Capital city. The window has a hole in its wooden frame. The toilet bowl hasn't been cleaned... More

My girlfriend and I booked a double room at this "hotel" for a night after our 3 night stay in Venice. We booked it primarily for its location. Got there and I must say it looked lovely from the outside. Walked into the reception and again...lovely! Very clean, exactly what you see in the photos. Check-in was no problem. We... More
