Melrose House B&B provided me a cosy accomodation over my holidays. It is about 4 minutes on foot of Penge East Rail Station and a easy access to Centre of London (14 minutes by train). The B&B offers a tasty English Breakfast with a good view to the garden lawn.

I spent several days at this lovely B&B, located just a 15 minute train ride from Victoria Station. It was under renovations, but the room was clean and adequate, the meals were delicious and plentiful, and Frances the hostess was most helpful in providing answers to my questions. It's simple and plain with no frills, and it's a great bargain.

My wife and I stayed there on August 10/11, 2011. Very, very nice accommodation with a nice breakfast. Frances, the owner, is very knowledgeable of everything that has to do with London: transportation, restaurants, attactions, etc. Enjoy your visit in London and rest at Melrose House. :
