Really nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a great location. Just a small walk to Paddington station and 15m from Oxford Street. The only negative thing was that the bed was a bit to hard. And that you should be prepared to walk in very slim stairs if you get a room that´s locaited high up.

We were in the room only for sleeping, for this was it very good. The bathroom is smal and few things was broken. The breakfast is a typical english breakfast and taste good if you like it. All togheter is this hotel good for some nights and this good prices.

The building was old but there had been a renovation at the rooms, the bathroom was not at all tiny, but there was no place to hung the towels. We rented a room for 4 and it looked okay from the picture. But a room at the third floor without elevator is difficult when you come with heavy luggage is not helping. Floor was not clean and bathroom very small. Noisy all the night. I clearly will not recommend this hotel.

The lower priced rooms were very disappointing. Dinning room service was good, but not much choice on the menu.

I stayed at the Belmont and Astoria Hotel for 3 nights. The Service was really bad, the Receptionist couldn't speak proper English and was very confused.
