This is the London School of Economics which, during the school holidays, opens its hostel residences to operate as a B&B. I was in London to meet up with my daughter who was on a gap year in England and before we took off touring Europe. I cannot speak more highly of this place! It is in a most beautiful georgian... This is amazingly good value for the location. Right in central London, feels secure (keycard needed to enter and then you have to go through a manned reception) and fairly quiet. The rooms are clean and basic. I took my own hairdryer - I don't know if you can borrow from reception. A towel and soap are provided. The room... More

I recently stayed at Passfield Hall for the weekend and found it ideally situated, the rooms, toilets and showers clean and tidy and more than adequate. The breakfast was great, offering a wide variety. I would definitely book again and recommend it to other visitors to London. Free luggage storage was very helpful. Thank you to the staff who were friendly, pleasant... More

I recently stayed at Passfield Hall and was very pleased with my double room. It is an older building with tall ceilings and opened to a square. I like it more than Carr.

Easy to book, helpful check in staff. clean and serviceable but the beds are old and the shower wasn't great. Breakfast was amazing! Great very central and reasonable accommodation for London where a rubbish b and b with shared facilities can be twice the price per night. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget.

stayed over easter break with my 18yr old daughter for a one night stay. I will definatley be back the room was clean and spacious, towels provided. Accomodation very well organised and a friendly and helpful welcome. We particularly found the service of free bag storage very helpful so we could go out and about London before our check in... I stayed at Passfield Hall from April 2nd - 5th, and certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future. Why? - fantastic value for such an excellent location - staff friendly, courteous and helpful, even graciously forwarding items I left behind. - clean comfortable room ( checked and cleaned every day) - quiet location - great breakfast... Passfield Hall will not become my favourite London stopover - this place is occupied by Northumberland House, also an LSE dorm - but it is a most decent one. The location is good: one bus stop from Russel Square, where you can easily get from Heathrow by Piccadilly line without changes, and a few minutes on foot from Euston Square,... More

Your candid and constructive feedback is really helpful and we’re glad that on the whole you found your stay satisfactory. Noise is sometimes an issue in but if you let the front desk know we will investigate and try to resolve it immediately – we really do appreciate there is nothing worse than being woken up in the middle of... I went to London as a group of 4 and stayed here in two twins for the night and it was perfect! The service was friendly and helpful, especially for clueless 18 year olds, the rooms were big and spacious, very light and the toilet facilities were adequate (I'm told the shower is good too). It was also surprisingly peaceful... More

I stayed at pass field hall last week with my daughter. We stayed two nights and cannot fault accommodation,Staff or facilities. This is the third time I have stayed with LSE twice at Holborn and now at pass field. It's only a shame it isn't open at other times of the year or I would be a more regular visitor.... More
