The Mercure is a good business type hotel and absolutely fine for an overnight stay. However, if you are looking for a longer stay, it may not be ideal as its location on a main road gives quite a lot of noise unless you are happy to sleep with the windows closed! Food fine, service fine, ambience adequate.

We stayed in a family room and it fit all 4 of us nicely. Breakfast was good. Ample parking was provided. A supermarket & a fast food chain are within walking distance from the hotel. Overall very good value for Norwich.
