I booked this as a surprise trip away - it's a shame it was only the one night as we were treated so well from the moment we arrived. We quickly dumped our bags and went for a pre - dinner walk around Fewston Reservoir. It was 4 miles and took us an hour and a half - if you've... More

Dinner menu not huge but everything was produced to a very high standard. Breakfast was filling and the fruit salad was very fresh and full of variety. Wine list was on the small side as big new world fans the choice was extremely limited: having said that we did enjoy our choices. We had a coeliac in our party and... More

Four us ate out on 5th May, my wife and me for the first time. The Inn is in a stunning setting and looks very inviting from the outside. The interior seems to suit the place perfectly. All the starters were very good, really tasty, well cooked and generously portioned. Two of us had the Nidderdale lamb which was as... More

We went for Sunday lunch with our two children on a recommendation from a friend. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was the same menu with smaller portions for children, not a rubbish children's menu as offered at so many places. It is really hard to find a beautiful home cooked Sunday lunch but this really hit the nail on... More

We have just returned from the Timble Inn at Timble, recommended by a collegue. We booked the stay to celebrate my birthday, what a place. We were met by Paul, the Timbles manager and shown to room 5, it was wow! Decorated perfectly and everything you could possibly want and more! After a walk around nearby Harrogate we returned to... We arrived (just) in the middle of a heavy downfall of snow, most picturesque. This is a very nice and well run place. Lovely bedrooms and excellent food. Although it is slightly on the expensive side it is a price worth paying. We shall return to stay longer next time.

The Timble Inn. No sign to it. Probably not allowed. But then it probably doesn't need one off the B6451 above Otley in the Washburn Valley as it still has a Leeds postcode (LS21 2NN). Despite feeling miles from nowhere in a county with more acres than the King James Bible has words. Reputation is all and this C18 Coaching... More
