Nicely situated and very well appointed B & B, a pleasant walk from the city centre. Owners very helpful, good breakfast for both quality and quantity and the "Oriental room" is beautifully furnished. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2012. The b&b is situated in a residential road only a 5 minute walk to the city centre. The owners are always willing to assist if you have any queries about your stay. The bedroom was clean and spacious. Would stay here again.

Amber House is a short walk from the old city of York and a short drive into the city from the motorway, a perfect location. The room is spacious and comfortable.
