We visit the Golden Fleece for lunch every time we visit York and have never been disappointed. The hot beef and gravy baguette and sausage and stilton baguette are quality and filling. The staff have always been friendly and I’ve never heard anyone complain about the food. Great atmosphere in a “haunted” pub. Always a favourite.
