Just stayed here one night thank god. The beds let this place down otherwise I may have given 3 star. So uncomfortable, springy and noisy air con. It was clean, had tea and coffee in room and breakfast was good. Very bare room though. I won't use again.

Location excellent, four minute walk from centre. Tesco Express and Budgens very close to hotel, which is very handy. Slug and Lettuce 2 minute walk away, they do a great cooked breakfast with drink for £5, and Monday's are 50% off food. This is a standard Travelodge, nothing wrong with it all, and it's in a very convenient location near the railway station and York Minster.

Perfectly situated in the city centre, clean and does exactly what it says on the tin. I'll be staying here again, and that's always a good sign as far as I'm concerned!
