Stayed for just one night for wife's birthday. On a Saturday in York getting a room for one night is very difficult but no problem here. Vera lovely and very welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. Full English breakfast very good and left full and happy! Would come again gladly.

We have stayed at the Ardmore ,York before.And enjoyed our stay so much we decided to go back and we were not disappointed.Vera is so accommodating and could not do enough for us.Good nights sleep,good breakfast,good price.Just make sure you book quickly as these little gems soon get booked up..

In common with many found this after searching for others as we only needed one night in view of a wedding. Really glad we found it as after staying at a nice although very corporate chain hotel the night before this was perfect. Would very much echo what others have said about Vera who could not do enough for you.... More

This was our second visit here during the Xmas market, and will stay here again. Excellent location, short walk from city centre, with free car park during stay. Room small but everything you need. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
