We read the previous reviews with some trepidation the day before we were due to arrive. Although it was irritating not to be able to get in before 5pm and there were some strict instructions/rules in the manual our general experience was very positive. As a group of thirty-somethings with 5 children between us, we were very much looking forward to our weekend in the Cotswolds at Beech House. We were a little disappointed not to be able to get access before 5pm with lots of young children and babies who needed feeding, but the owner was adamant that keys could not be picked... More

The house was great for our purpose although the furniture in the largest of the sitting rooms was very tired and needed upgrading. Facilities in the kitchen were very good as was the seating. Seating for 20 in the garden but only two very small- 3ft diameter tables- so not suitable for eating outside. Some bedroom curtains had shrunk so... More
