We were very disappointed with our apartment. It was generally rather grotty. The carpet was filthy and covered in stains. The sofa's were very old and uncomfortable and had sagged greatly after so much use. They were also rather stained. Our double bed was ok but the kids complained about theirs. Excellent - lovely setting close to a great city. The building is beautiful and the accommodation was comfortable and fuss-free. Only slight whinge would be the storage heaters - we were staying in the winter and it was difficult to achieve a satisfactory temperature later in the evening.
