Spent a night here when passing through on business. The location is lovely. Very peaceful. Rooms were quite nice and the staff very friendly. Only complaint, we arrived a bit late and the restaurant closes at 9 promptly.

As other reviewers have noted this hotel has a great exterior but the inside has seen better days with cramped rooms and small bathrooms. It is used asa venue for wedding receptions - we stayed for a Saturday and Sunday night - there was loud music both nights until midnight and we were woken again by noisy drunk guests at...

I love this hotel, I had my wedding here 2 years ago and everything about it was fantastic. Mark the wedding planner was amazing he sorted everything out for us and it was my dream wedding. The food here is amazing and we all had a brilliant day. The hotel is set in beautiful country side and gardens, it is...

The Hall is magnificent and a proper stately home though we had pleasure...

We saw this advertised on Groupon and stayed one night in February. Wortley Hall was full of trade union memorabilia as well as being full of history inside and outside. Reception staff were prompt and helpful and we stayed in the Vin Williams Wing. The garden was nice to wander around considering it was February and they had a bar...

I have just returned from a 1 night stay groupon deal at this hotel and the overall value for money and service was 10/10.
The room was modern clean and had everything we required and we had no problems with heating or damp issues in our room which I think had been recently refurbished only down side was small shower...

Wortley Hall was transformed into a residential and training centre for a number of trades unions in the 1950's. For this reason the place holds a fascination should one be interested in the history of the UK labour movement.
It is a huge rambling building set in lovely open countryside but not far from the motorway and the city of...
