Had to stay here for a wedding, not out of choice. Would not ever choose to stay here again. I just didn't like the place or the food. The room was mediocre as was the cleanliness. I would prefer to forget that I ever stayed there.

Firstly lots of steps to go up with lots of bags or disabled would be a massive no no. Nice looking room but on further investigation, totally impartical. I had the pleasure of staying at the rutland at the beginning of march 2012, the staff are friendly and welcoming the hotel itself is unique and full of character all in all a very pleasurable exsperience.
