Stayed here for one night with our friends just as somewhere to stay the night before we headed to longleat. Good location - about 15 minutes from longleat and was close to bath for somewhere to go for dinner. I stayed in room 20 which was fine, except the toilet kept leaking and we only had 1 pillow each.. But... More

Just gotten back from one night staying here prior to a day out in Longleat. It's a basic Travelodge, probably a little dated (especially in the bathroom), but it does as it says on the tin...was close to Longleat, didn't cost an awful lot of money & was exactly what we needed. OK - so Room 19 which we stayed... More

Stayed Saturday to Sunday and had two rooms, one family and one standard.Reception and staff were fine. Handy location for bath, nearby 24hrs petrol station has good shop and is useful to have nearby. Little Chef is one of the better ones in my experience. Both rooms were cleanish but have a worn out look. Both Bathrooms especially poor with... More

We stopped over the night before our holiday at Center Parcs, Longleat. All the usual no frills Travelodge facilities at a very good value £52 for two rooms. Adequate rooms needing a lick of paint. Everything worked except TV remote controls in both rooms?? Rooms at the rear of the hotel are quieter, being away from the nearby busy road... More

Just an overnight stop to participate in a sporting event. Situated by the A36/A361 roundabout, a few miles SW of Trowbridge. As usual, it is not easy to spot. The Little Chef sign is more visible and shares the site and car park. There is also a petrol station on site. Plenty of car park space. Standard Travelodge on two... More

We needed a stopping off point for a nights sleep to break the long journey from the NorthWest to Poole for a family funeral. Cheap and cheerful was the order of the day as we would be arriving late and leaving early. First problem was the receptionist gave us somebody elses key! Once that was corrected we found our room... nothing fancy about this place, but the rooms were a decent size, clean and there wasn't much noise. So for a Travelodge it was great! As with all of these places, the prices vary dramatically dependent on when you buy them. The family room I had was £60, and the family room next door I had friends in was £35... More

Having stayed at many Travelodges in many places over many years, I have never had cause to complain before. Bathroom - mouldy on the tiles / grout, and at the base of the tiles by the top of the bath, big areas of black mould, it's nice to feel clean in the shower & after a shower, I did not........ More

We use Travelodge quite regularly when travelling in UK . You usually know what you are getting and they are clean airy although basic. You get what you pay for. THis one however was AWFUL. The fabric of the hotel was shoddy and run down, the bathroom ceiling covered in mould as was the shower rail. If the water pressure... More

Stayed here for 3 nights midweek while we visited the local area where we used to live. Great location for Bath, Longleat, Bradford on Avon, Frome, Stourhead and many other places all within 15 -20 mins drive. Travelodge itself is the usual basic accommodation but we found everything to be clean and the receptionist helpful. It is one that is... More
