The Kennard is charming and comfortable. After some experience with English coffee several years ago, it was delightful to have individual coffee presses (with excellent coffee) at our breakfast table.

My husband and I stayed for three nights in May at The Kennard and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is in a great location, around the corner from Pultney Bridge and a few minutes' walk to the Abbey and Roman Baths. On arrival, Giovanni provided us with a parking permit, (with which we were able to park nearby...

Stayed at the Kennard for two nights in late April 2012. It is a delightful hotel on Henrietta Street -a very quiet, safe, and peaceful street - just a few minutes on foot from the city centre and the Pulteney Arms (went for quiz night - had great fun!).
The room was just fine with complimentary wifi and tea and...

This hotel is in a great location for walking to all the sites, and the hosts are warm and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had anywhere on our trip with lots of choices and everything well prepared and served beautifully. The room was clean, comfortable with a great view of the lovely garden. It was small,...

I and a friend spent three nights at this lovely hotel. We got help getting our bags to the second floor when we arrived. We stayed in the gold room that had a fresh bathroom, flat screen TV with several channels, wardrobe, water boiler with tea/coffee, radiator. My bed could have been a bit softer and there were some noisy...

The property lived up to the expectations of reviews I had seen on the WEB. Very nice, clean room, very comfortable. Not overlay large by any means, but a traditional European type room. Car parking pass was quite a nice benefit. Just around the block walking and you were in the heart of Bath.. right at the Roman Bath and...

Excellent hosts happy to advise and give endless directions to attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous, plentiful and a wide variety. Have never stayed in such a fantastic independant hotel,...

Lovingly and tastefully maintained with plenty of style. Very convenient for exploring Bath. Fabulous breakfast with top notch ingredients sourced locally/organically. Giovanni and Mary are great fun and work hard to make sure everyone's visit is special. Only one very minor negative: the mattress in our room could do with an upgrade in the not too distant future.
Stayed one night at The Kennard and enjoyed it thoroughly. The breakfast was fantastic, really top notch. High quality, local, and organic ingredients. Lovely hosts, so gracious. The room, all the way at the top floor, was small but well-decorated. The bathroom was clean and the shower very strong water pressure, which was a welcome rarity. Walking distance to many...
