The Best Western Abbey was an excellent choice for easy access to the local attractions and restaurants. I had requested in my reservations a room towards the back and it was granted. I had a lovely triple room all to myself. They had made a nice effort to provide a vegetarian cooked breakfast (with quorn sausage, halloumi, mushrooms, etc.). The location was fantastic, room was quiet. The only minor niggles were the lack of a car park and the shower was not that warm even at top temperature.

£200 to stay in a dark and dismal room squirrelled away in the rear of the hotel and accessed by walking straight through the middle of the restaurant. Very poor value for money. We only went to Bath for one night and found this Hotel to be in a great spot for walking around central. Nice service, it's downfall for us was it was 5deg the night we got there and there heating system would not work, on approach the did give us a small electric heater though.
