I stayed in room 5 for 2 nights. The room is a little worn in places (it is an old bank) but ignoring that I found it to be very clean and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was clean and the shower was fantastically strong which was great to wake up to! I appreciated the kettle with coffee etc... More

The hotel is not externally signed, entrance is via the Loch Fyne restaurant, which is in George Street at the top of Milsom street. The staff were friendly, when we checked-in and we were shown to our room (room 2). I found the room tidy, well presented but quirky. It was unusual to have a bathroom without any doors, that... We recently stay at the Milsoms Hotel in Bath. The location was good. But, the hotel had no visible sign from the street. The room need to be refurbished.. The stairway was dirty and there was a strong smell of fish on the lower floors. The staff was not that helpful. However, the breakfast was excellent. If we come back... More

If you want somewhere to act as a base whilst in Bath, the location of this hotel is great. It's right in the city centre, near to both the shops and restaurants. The rooms are fine, but are in need of some TLC. They're equipped with tea and coffee facilities, plus an iron / ironing board / tv / hairdryer / fan. The plug... More

I would recommend this hotel if you are looking simple but comfortable hotel with a central location. It is in a great spot, close to all of the local attractions, bars and restaurants. The room was clean and a good size and the bed was very comfy. I wouldn't recommend it if you are after a luxury hotel experience, the... More

Nice central position. Smell of fish from restaurant was overpowering. Room was on the top floor and was a ridiculous climb. Room was basic, television was tiny. Not really a hotel so if you want a bit of luxury or attention stay somewhere else

Positives : - Great city centre location - Pleasant rooms and a comfortable bed - Historic / characterful building - Good value Negatives : - No lift so a bit of climb up to the top floor Overall, very pleased with our night here. Stayed here for a romantic weekend and it was a very nice stay. Great location, right in the centre of town which might be off putting for some as it can get very busy on the weekend and a bit noisy outside. The parking is a bit of a pain but no real hassle if you dont mind a 5... More
