Warm welcome, friendly & attentive service by all throughout the weekend. Great room, overlooking the green; comfortable four poster bed; equally comfortable leather chesterfield. Food exceptionally good, creative cooking and in just the right sized portions. Nice 'family owned' feel about the place. Would definitely go again

We went fo our friends wedding anniversary the greeting we received from Michael the GM was friendly welcomingawns set the standard for the rest of our stay from the housekeeper Ursula to the wonderfully talented kitchen brigade and Fiona on front of house all showed how's good hotel should be run. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

from the moment we walked in the staff made us feel special. our room was lovely with dual aspect looking out to the green, and we enjoyed the most fabulous meal! And we have to add that Michael made it extra special. would recommend to anyone looking for a special place in suffolk.
