We stayed here for a trip to the races at Newmarket and would definitely return. I called ahead the day before to arrange to leave my car on the car park so that we could get a taxi to the course so that a few drinks could be consumed! We arrived at 11:30am and the room was already available for... More

Last minute booking done through an agency to attend a funeral. Given probably the worst room in the hotel more like a furniture store room than a bedroom. On main road and noisy. Given a family room not needed, Cheap double bed, tatty bedside table, one chair two dining chairs two coffee tables mismatched chest of drawers, single bed and... More

We were looking for a regular location to host an evening conference and dinner for approximately 20 people and were shown a lovely private room. When the staff were informed at the last minute that there were actually 26 delegates, which would be too many for the previous room, they rapidly converted half of the restaurant into a well planned... We went with a group of friends for a celebration meal. We had been asked to provide our choices beforehand so were a little surprised to be kept waiting 45 minutes to be shown to our table. There were about 4 other diners in the restaurant. The soup arrived without any accompanying bread or roll which is a little unusual.... More

I stayed at the Rosery Hotel from early September 2011 to early January2012. I can honestly say that without exception every staff member including the owner rated amongs the most helpful and curtious people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.Nothing was ever too much trouble. My room was well serviced, clean ,comfortable and warm. Food and... More

Stayed in a garden room. Massive wet room which needed more heating for me to fully enjoy. Breakfast fine - hot tasty quickly served. If I stay again then I'll venture out for an evening meal. Used late rooms to book this and good value for £55.00 wouldn't want to pay much more. Very handy for Newmarket.

We arrived in Exning at 11pm after getting delayed from the South Coast and the receptionist stayed late for us which was nice. Earlier on they'd offered to keep the kitchen open to get us some food when we arrived but we ended up eating en route. Our garden room was spacious and modern and very clean. The cooked breakfast...
