We have stayed in this travelodge before, and have previously accepted that the problems with limited parking and street noise were offset by its excellent location, comfortable beds and good-sized family rooms, which have always been impeccably clean. We also like the fact you get a proper bathtub, not just a shower, and the rooms are well-heated. However, this time... More

I have stayed at this Travelodge several times, and have never been dissatisfied. I always ask for a room on the top floor overlooking the railway, since I enjoy watching the trains on the main London to Portsmouth line. Alternatively, some rooms overlook the River Wey towards Dapdune Wharf and some the A3 Guildford By-Pass. This time, my room was... More

The location of this traveloge makes it ideal for accessing the city centre, university, M25 & A3. There is parking available underneath and to the side of the travelodge which is a bonus. We chose this hotel for its location and it is pet friendly. We had used this Travelodge a couple of years ago but found a real change... More

It's a Travelodge, pretty basic accommodation, not great, but not bad either. There is a Frankie and Benny's next door for OK food.

Stayed here for a night earlier this week as my daughter had an interview at Surrey University. The room was very clean apart from the sofa bed which was torn, stained and generally tatty. Neither of us wanted to sleep on it! Decor throughout was looking a bit worn and tired andthe mattress on the bed was extremely saggy, my... More

I have just stayed here with my husband and 2 young children, although I almost didn't after reading the reviews! It certainly isn't as bad as people are saying... Yes it's a bit tatty but if people are staying in it surely it's going to get a bit worn over time..... Yes I agree it's not as nice as a... More

Stayed here on business a couple of times, not through choice though let me tell you. The beds aren't particularly comfortable. No hairdryers in the rooms The restaurant cheap, but then all microwavable food tends to be... (although the free WiFi in the bar works nicely) Wouldn't hurt the staff to be a little friendlier either Can't really knock the... More

Being my fourth visit to this Travelodge it's sad that it is looking very tired and old now. The hotel isn't actually that old, maybe 5/6 years but it looks much older. Signs that have had all the letters picked off have still not changed since the first time I stayed here in December 2009. This is very disappointing. The... More

We arrived at 2pm only to be told we cannot have the rooms until 3pm unless we pay £10 for each room, consequently we put the cases back in the car and went to have something to eat. When we arrived back at 3pm, we checked in to said Shutter Island, room was ok it wasn't dirty but mattress could... More

No problems, usual Travelodge everything and its quite a new Travelodge so better than the usual motorway service station hotels. Considering the hotel was fully booked for NYE the parking and noise was fine.
