Having read previous reviews, we got exactly what we expected (3 night stay). Yes, the decor was perhaps a little tired and the building is not in its first flush of youth. However, staff very pleasant and helpful, everything clean and tidy, everything worked, comfortable bed, the hotel location was great for us and pretty good value for money. It... More

I stay regularly on business, the service is top drawer by Ben and his team, the bed and breakfast rate really can't be beaten for the size and comfort of the rooms on offer and the hot selection at breakfast is always freshly prepared. And for an evening meal you can do better than their sister restaurant Raffles which sits... More

Helen on reception is very helpful and friendly. Room was clean if a little tired however for the price paid it was more than acceptable. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of both hot and cold dishes, fruit, cereals juice etc. Can't fault it for the price and the service made it well worth the visit.

I was amazed by the spacious and well appointed room we booked for a one night stay to visit with friends. Our friends had a similar suite on the same floor, which they had booked for a three night stay. The bed was huge. I had only booked a standard room with booking.com and had been upgraded to an executive... More

The staff couldn't have done more for us during our short stay. The location was ideal, breakfast very good and the rooms were great value for money. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant as there are lots of different restaurants along the main high street. Parking is available which is very useful.

this is a really nice and cosy hotel. Its on the main road but you cant hear any noise at all. Very friendly atmosphere with all local shopping is just there within minutes walk. Lots of eating area and the hotel itself has a nice restaurant but bit too high in price according to other restaurants in town.

Spent 4 nights at the Grand Hotel. Picture doesn't do it justice. It may not be Grand in the sense of 4-5 star Grand but for the price you pay we thought it was great. I was over for a conference but my family used it as a base to discover the surrounding area (which is lovely, by the way,... More

Far from ‘grand’, it’s average at best. We arrived in Kenilworth at 3pm on New Year’s Eve with no reservations made and this hotel had a room available. Our room was apparently in the middle of a refurbishment and the walls had yet to be painted… though to be honest, the carpet needed replacing as did all the furniture! The... More
