A beautiful old building very close to the centre of town. The facilities are excellent considering the age of the property but if you stay in the old part of the hotel be prepared for sloping floors, low ceilings and gaps under the doors but if you appreciate old buildings this will highlight your stay. Saturday night 11:50pm in a room here (where most of the rooms are located) and there is band playing somewhere in the hotel. The music is so loud in the room that you'd think the music was playing in the room. Called Reception and they said that all the management have gone home and they can't do anything.

We stayed here In November 2011. You couldn't get a better location in Stratford upon Avon and FREE parking!! Would use again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel with plenty of charactor, with the added benefit of a central location and all modern amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful, and a great restaurant to boot.
