Peter and Ruth are warm and friendly hosts who welcome you as friends. The accommodation was flawless. Beautiful, spotless and thoughtful attention to details. The breakfast was outstanding. The location to the town was most convenient. We highly recommend staying here and would love to visit again.

Not only was the accommodation excellent and the location very central, we were also given good advice about where to eat out. Also very valuable was the private parking; we were able to park the car and forget about it.

My husband and I stumbled across Ambleside by accident - it was obviously meant to be! We were greeted warmly by Peter upon arrival which relaxed us immediately.
