Jackie was very welcoming and fixed tea with lemon for the walker with a bad cough. She and Denis were very helpful about what was open after 6, what was nearby for a quick dinner and they made a marvelous breakfast.

On my recent visit to the Cotswolds I stayed in nine different B&Bs - all were very good but Woodstock Guest House was the best of all. Location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, and great hosts make this an excellent choice. But there was more - special deluxe body cream, heated towel racks, hair dryer/mirror/outlet/shelf all in one location, chair... More

Jackie and Denis greeted our group with such courtesy and kindness. They provided excellent service -- the rooms were clean and quiet -- the food was delicious and fresh -- their hospitality exceeded expectations. Jackie helped us coordinate transportation to Heathrow and recommended a restaurant which we enjoyed.

On my way to do a graduate program at Oxford I wanted a few days of history and theater so I decided to spend some time in Statford.. Boy, did I luck out on this one. A great B&B. Walking distance to Shakespeare theater and many other points of interest. The Inn keepers Denis and Jackie were very helpful and... More

This is by far the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at, due in large part to Denis and Jackie, our hosts. Our rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, with every convenience (heated towel racks). The breakfasts were made to order. In addition, Jackie picked up our laundry at the laundromat one day when we were out. When we... More

We found this to be a very satisfactory bed and breakfast. The owners were very polite and helpful, the rooms were large, clean and well apppointed and the food was excellent. As one who has stayed in various hotels in Stratford upon Avon many times I was particularly pleased that the parking was on site, as this is clearly more... More

What a lucky find! Woodstock for me was peaceful, warm and welcoming with a super comfy bed and all the amenities and coziness of home. Still, home wouldn't be home without a "family," and Dennis and Jackie are two of the most accommodating hosts I've found in 20 years of travel. They took extra care to help me arrange for... More

My friend and I stayed here for the weekend, as we were running the marathon and I have to say I've never experienced such welcoming and helpful hosts. We had booked two nights in what turned out to be a very comfortable en-suite room, with a TV, tea and coffee, so we made ourselves at home. The morning breakfast brings... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was visiting with friends -- an unexpected side trip -- and we had a marvelous time. The owners were very nice, helping us with luggage, orienting us to town, making us feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable. We had a lovely stay. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Completely agree with the many other positive reviews. Great location, central but very quiet. Helpful hosts - on hand when needed but not obtrusive. Delicious, varied breakfast. Thoroughly recommend.
