Hotel was in good central location with parking which is a real bonus.Room 487 family room was clean , comfortable and above average bathroom facilities which verged on luxurious which was ideal for the children.Staff were friendly and attentive. A very enjoyable stay, and great value for money.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night after a Business Christmas dinner. Everything about the hotel was terrible and if it wasn't that we would have missed our Christmas function,we would have walked back out as quickly as we walked in. The room was small so that the bed was against a wall, dirty and in... More

Me and my wife have just returned from a weeekend stay here and I was really impressed with this hotel. Our room was extremely clean, bed was nice, tv had freeview and the staff were always on hand. The hotel was close to the city centre and catching buses to and from the centre was very easy. We will return... More

Although it's a really cheap hotel, I can only persuade everyone to spend a little more and stay somewhere else. The reception hall looks rather nice & clean and that is where these features end....We'd seen 3 rooms until we found one suitably clean to stay in, but it was still awfully outdated and the bed was very uncomfy. And... More

I stayed at the Norfolk hotel over the weekend. Nice reception area, friendly staff that also offered to take our luggage up to our room. When you are paying so little for a room in central birmingham i was not expecting such an exceptional service. We stayed 2 nights in a double room, The room was clean and the bathroom... More

Ok my wife and I stayed here on the 11th of May for two nights. My wife has recently found herself a new job in the Midlands and the purpose of our stay was to find a place that she can use through the week which was comfortable clean and had good access to motorways as her job takes her... More

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It is like a hostel for the homeless. If you have a choice between sleeping rougth on a cold winters night or staying at this hotel, I would advise you to wrap up warm and look for a park bench. I was totaly shocked at the state of the place. I slept with my... More

Me & my husband stayed here with our 2 young children because we went to Drayton Manor Park & was going to Cadbury's world the day after so for £36 we thought it was worth staying at the Norfolk Hotel rather than the 1hr 20 mins journey home. On arrival the reception looked nice but as soon has we went... More

Im sorry to say that is obviously a review made by somebody trying to give the hotel a bad name. 1. The hotel has not ever had a mouse problem. 2. If a light was out in the bedroom, all you would need to do is tell reception who would send maintainence to fix the problem straight away. More

Bullet hole in the reception window, smoke filled corridors, blood stained curtains and carpet, punch holes in the doors and windows taped over with duck tape. 6 lights sharing one bulb, and a present left in the toilet from the cleaner. To be fair it did take a good double flush to say goodbye to it! Slept in cloths for... More

3 star hotel?! Ok! Lets start....As a well travelled person, i am in no doubt that my research for hotels on the internet often do not match the some of the hotels on my arrival. However, in the case of the Norfolk, i was very disappointed. External building and reception are basic, but acceptable. However, the rest of the hotel... More
