We were very impressed at our stay at the Hotel Indigo. Location wise, its just a short walk from the main shopping area, New St Station And the O2 arena. The area itself is very nice surrounded by canals and restaurants. The rooms are quite high up and you get an amazing view all over Birmingham. The bed is very... More

The car park is fantastic expenisve but worth the money...the spa was excellent and had an evening meal @ MPW which we booked through reception at the last minute and got my girlfirend and I the best... I am platinum reward card holder which demonstrates the time I spend in ihg hotels. I wasn't given a good room. Small with no view and the air-con didn't work. Several visits /p hone calls later (90% of which were unanswered) it was turned on by reception with some 'power surge' excuse. But only solved short term - stopped again-... More

I am freqent guest with ICH hotels, ranging from HI Expresses up to their flagship Intercontinental Hotels, mostly staying in mid-price hotels such as Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza (where budget allows). I had never stayed in the group's 'Hotel Indigo' before, so venturing to Birmingham I thought I would give this a try rather than the Crowne Plaza up... More

hotel indigo is in the heart of the city, brill location if your out of town looking for a good weekend, hotel views fantastic, rooms lovely but need more attention to detail if this hotel wants to keep its upmarket apperance, housekeepers need to shape up with there attitudes and appearance expecially during the breakfast hours some of them look... The hotel having only been opened 4 months still had some things not quite completed such as the lift to the Spa level so you had to walk outside to get to it...not that convenient but a minor inconvenience. As are the other Indigo hotels I have stayed at this one is no different in it's eclectic, unique and fun... More

Booking the hotel was easy and reception was very helpful with my phone equiries and upgrade due to Platimum member etc. Hotel location is perfect and not difficult to find (in my opinion). The complex (cube and Mailbox) are excellent for food and drinks. First impressions OK, reception efficently friendly and room very nice, 2435 with balcony and larger than... More

Due to the appalling grammar in michellel359's review ("we was") i'd assume the reviewer is not accustomed to staying/dining/drinking in such establishments. I would urge others not to pay particular attention to the review and make they're own, far better informed judgement. The hotel and skybar are fantastic and a great addition to Birmingham.

Booked this hotel as fancied staying somewhere different (as partners birthday) for one evening. Upon arrivial, was greated by a very helpful man on reception who let us book in a good 2 hours early - good start. We then went to park our car and without spoiling it, its an experiance..... We then went up to level 24 and... More
