Paid £10 a night in the sale for a room while we attended an event in the centre. Staff were lovely and very friendly and handed over an extra pillow with a smile. room was spacious and clean but bed could do with replacing (matress dipped in the middle which wasn't great) but overall what more could I ask for,... A poo/faeces crusted quilt was on my bed. Made a complaint and manager said to receptionist on phone he would contact me and he didn't bother. Disgusting! Last time I stayed in a Travelodge in Yorkshire there were someone's dirty pants under the bed!!!!! Never again! Revolting company!

Stayed here this May bank holiday weekend. I have given quite a few reviews on here and feel fair in saying when i say dont stay there, there has to be a good enough reason! Plus points first: The staff are very friendly, helpful and pleasent. Now for the rest: I would agree with Travellingman6 review on this hotel. Rooms... More

Staying at this hotel for 1 night as its close enough to the NEC (driving). Plenty of free parking and close to a couple of nice places to eat (which solves the problem of the hotle only offering a hand-full of hot snacks for £3 each). The hotel reception staff were nice and helpful. The rooms are very basic and... More

Room nearly OK. Bathroom OK Carpets in need of replacement. Bedding suspect. Clientele suspicious...... Slept well. Convenient and did the job at a bargain price.

Stayed here for one night for proximity to the NEC. It was lovely and clean. Really nice friendly staff. Would definately stay here again. One of the nicer travelodge hotels I have been to.

We stayed here for the night before Crufts, i booked it as it was close to the NEC as we were showing out dog We would normally stay in prem inn's ( we also use a holiday inn @ Gatwick before we fly to Orlando every year ) so are fairly used to these cheaper hotels ( for the record,... More

.....And if you have only paid £19 I suppose you can't complain too much. Very pleasant receptionist, Plenty of car parking - convenient location. Otherwise very run down, grubby, stained & disgusting looking duvet, plenty of black mould in the bathroom, which appeared to have hot water running from both taps. holes and further stains on carpets and furnishings. Travelodge aren't the last word in 5* living, but normally you get what you pay for. We've used Yardley a few times, normally when Travelodge do the offer just after the end of the school holidays, and they advertise £9 rooms for November and December, just in time for the bike show at NEC. The reason we booked Yardley was... More

Door handle fell off when trying to open the door, I left it thinking that when they cleaned the room they would fix it back on - when I got back to the room it was still where I left it. Seriously, no matter what the price I would expect basic maintance to be looked after. Lets face it, it... More
