Stayed for one night in a twin room (can’t remember the name, but it was on the 1st floor and up the left-hand stairs. The room was very large, but bizarrely had the two tiniest single beds you’ve ever seen. They seemed smaller than a standard single bed, which given all the spare floor space seemed rather a strange decision.... More

For nostalgic reasons I booked a luxury suite here for our wedding night. Hmmm nostalgia can be dangerous. Check in was fast friendly and efficient but no offer to show us to our room. Perhaps there is a reason that staff don't want to show clients their rooms ...... Frankly I was very disappointed with the room - Brown Brothers.... More

We've stayed here a number of times and having got married here I am a bit biased - but it's a great hotel. We had a great rate on a studio room, huge open plan bedroom and comfy seating area with a massive bathroom, roll top bath and walk in shower. Breakfast was included in our rate which is always... Me and my partner were given a free night's stay after an issue not being dealt with on our last stay. This time they definately redeemed themselves. We very luckily got a last minute booking for a friday night. We were given a top floor room as promised, which was of an exceptional standard. The hotel manager had kindly left... More

Dear Trisha Thank you so much for your kind comments. Like any business, as much as we might try, we won't always get it right first time. If we don't get it right then it is down to us to turn in around. I am delighted to hear we got it right this time and I hope we might have... More

Fab hotel in a great location minutes from Snowhill Station. As well as a hotel with extremely comfortable beds there is a traditional pub, fabulous bistro and classy champagne bar all under one roof and if you want to shop till you drop on Saturday, eat fantastic food and then enjoy the spa to chill before departing this is a... Very impressed with this hotel although I was only there for one night. Service was exemplary, the rooms were a delight. Nothing was too much trouble from booking a taxi to taking my bags to the rooms. I will definitely staff here next time I am in Birmingham.

Second stay here. Brilliant hotel. Seems to be the best in Birmingham. Lovely interesting building, think it used to be a dental hospital. Stuffed in amongst the hurly-burly of Birmingham city centre. Always has lovely staff. Had a great room service breakfast. The pub du vin in the basement is nice and snuggly. Lovely deluxe room. Superb monsoon shower. Incredibly... More

Hotel du Vin is still the best hotel in Birmingham city centre. Fantastic rooms, the food in the bistro is amazing, the bar is great and the staff are really welcoming and helpful (especially Sophie and Matilde who looked after us so well last night). Many thanks, be back again soon

We have stayed here on numberous occassions and we booked for my 50th birthday. Again the staff could not be more helpful, rooms spacious and the Sunday brunch is excellent and so is breakfast. Again thank you, this hotel is one of the best. We will be back very soon. Tracey and Paul

This is probably the best hotel in Birmingham in my opinion, it is built on the site of the old Birmingham eye hospital, but do not let that put you off, the rooms are first class, the restaurant is great and the bar is fantastic.
