My mum and 88 year old nan stayed here on what was a special trip for my nan. The shower was hanging off the wall, mouldy walls, an old bed and sofa, dusty. Awful. 8 miles from anything. This is not acceptable. They also booked a twin room and ended having to share a double bed. The hotel just said... More

Staff were nice enough, but the breakfast was rank, the bacon and sausages were that hard you could of used them to knock a wall through. The beans had a funny taste and the egg was to dry. Room was ok, apart from when you flushed the toilet and it sounded like the roof was caving in. The door handle... More

Answers to a lot of the 'issues' raised by other reviewers. Cleanliness of rooms - Our room was very clean. There was a mark on the wall where a previous guest must have scuffed their case, but I can live with that. Key cards - Our key did stop working, but the staff reprogrammed it right away. Staff - One... More

Great hotel pefectly situated just off m6. Paid 19 quid for my family room and the kids loved it especially sitting in the circular windows. Breakfast for all 4 of us was 7quid so excellent value. There's a londis on site and free parking. I don't think you could get better value if you tried.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews of this place. We had booked 1 night as a stopover between visiting family and flying from Birmingham airport. We parked round the back and checked in very easily, I agree that it is confusing at first about how you find the entrance but once you get your bearings it's OK.... More

I have stayed at lots of travelodges and in the main, I have found them to be fine. This one how was far from it. I am in a wheelchair and travelled alone. I parked in the main car park as instructed then went to get a pass to display in my windscreen. It was very hard to find the... More

I will try to be balanced, on arrival we were 10 mins before the check in time of 15.00, and were told we would have to wait, no problem there. But within a couple of minutes another staff member was checking us in. So sort of good service. Like all travelodges, this building looks better outside than in, it's very... More

I understand that you pay for what you get & if i had paid... More
