This place should not be allowed to stay open... Loose wires, dirty linen, dirty showers, ants, loose electrics, wires trailing down the stairs, used tissues on the floor and EXTREMELY rude staff that are clearly in the wrong job role using excuse after excuse as to why their hotel is so awful The hotel is also in Birmingham’s red light... This hotel is the worst place I have ever stepped foot in! Filthy, ant infested rooms. Staff who blamed everyone but themselves for the state of the place. I don't care how cheap somewhere is or how long the owners have been there, there is no excuse for having ants in the rooms, dirty sheets, pizza boxes and used tissues... More

Give the poor guy a chance! He was beyond helpful when we arrived tired and ready for a rest! Swapped our room - even gave us a choice! Plenty of hot water and tea/coffee! As he only took over at Cmas he has much to do and is coping/doing this almost single handedly! Felt sorry for the poor guy-especially now... More

Wow, after reading previous reviews, I can safely say, since the new owners have come in they have made a complete mess of this hotel. I am currently going through a feud with the manager, Fasial, who is about as helpful and customer focused as a chocolate fireguard. My stay at this hotel didn't even make the night! I got... More

I have always stayed at the bailey with my boyfriend and found it to be great value for money. The room had always been clean and 'Eileen' the lady who always welcomed us with a smile literally did everything from cleaning to taking bookings and then fixing the dodgy signal on our telly. we could not ask for more and... Me and my boyfriend booked an En Suite double through late rooms for one night and to be fair it was pretty cheap (the only good thing about it) however I would rather have paid £30 more for a travel lodge of I'd have known what we were in for. The place looks like a dump from the outside, when... More
