I stayed just for the one night while visiting on business. It’s a great location and the City centre is around 10-15 minutes drive away. Star City is literally across the roundabout and if you fancy eating out you are spoilt for choice albeit the standard restaurant chains but they are good value. I was pleasantly surprised that the room... More

Booked through booking.com and booked an accessible room and asked for connecting room. Got exactly what we asked for, and unusually a "wet room". Very accessible. Greeting at reception was very friendly and very helpful. Beds comfortable. Breakfast quite pleasant, help yourself, some hot and cold foods, not the full range of hot foods for a "full english". Smallish dining... More

Overall great stay. Large clean room, great shower. Nice big bed. Was a bit disappointed with breakfast, booked as this had a hot breakfast but only eggs for veggies – no tomatoes, mushrooms or anything like that, which was disappointing and the fruit selection was also disappointing. My meat eating boyfriend enjoyed his, but not much for me. Other little... More

Stayed here overnight while in Birmingham to see Cirque Du Soleil (absolutely brilliant by the way) and it was pretty good. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast was very good, hotel was good value for money, and it is only a cheap taxi ride to the Centre of Birmingham and the hotel offers free parking. The only down side was... More

Seemingly, this is yet another deviation of the famous 'Hilton' brand to capture a part of the hotel market it has never before attempted. The 'Hampton' name is set to challenge the type of hotel accommodation previously set by the likes of 'Premier' and 'Travelodge.' Does it work? In a word, yes! The 'Hampton' hotel near Birmingham's city centre, in... More

We stayed for one night at the Hampton and was impressed with the value for money it provided! Room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfortable! Buffet breakfast was included in price and was nice. Staff were friendly and informative. 5 min walk from star city complex. Would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying!

Nice and relaxing stay. Clean hotel. Showers were brilliant. Beds were comfortable. Staff were polite. Overall fantastic stay. I paid very reasonable rate for the room which included breakfast, parking and internet. The city centre is 10 mins taxi ride and costs about 8 - 12 GBP. Breakfast could be better for vegetarians. Good hotel if you are on business... More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn, M6 Junction 7 several times for £35. This place came on offer for £49 inc breakfast so thought we would give it a try. The room is better than the Holiday Inn except for very limited tv channels. Location not as easy to find. The breakfast not worth the extra money, it was a complimentary... More
