This is a dump of a hotel and I am usually not terribly fussy. This one has it all - rude staff who don't answer the phone or acknowledge you, dirty dumpy dated rooms with nasty bathroom fixtures (the finish was peeled off the floor of the tub - gross), terrible breakfast buffet with no replenishment of items and the... The hotel is not best situated with large groups of drunk youngsters outside when I arrived (next to University) and the car park is under a flyover some 200 yds down the road. Check in was efficent but not friendly. decor is tacky with A4 self produced adverts and notices every where. room was very tired and the plumbing left... More

We were staying at this hotel for five days visiting family. the rooms were quite large clean bed and tidy, however the curtains and net curtains are a disgrace, filty dirty no wardrobe door and four coat hangers between three of us. Both my sister and I had trouble with the plumbing flush not working and the bathrooms flooding. We complained... More

We stayed here for one night on a coach trip. The check-in was very efficient although the 3 lifts were rather slow to get you to your floor. The room was spacious with a sofa which I think could convert to an additional bed if required. The bathroom was clean with a bath and shower on the wall. The only... More

Shabby, dated and grubby. Citys down and outs encouraged to drink in the bars by cheap beer prices. All in all not a good experience at all. Breakfast is a nightmare, served between 7am and 10am, but all cooked for 7am and left to dry out in casserole dishes with grubby paper towels wrapped around the handles to stop you... More

First time at this hotel and may well be the last. Room sizes were fine but the decor was extremely shabby and the windows were filthy. Breakfast was plentiful but cold as was the water for cups of tea, but dinner was ok. Being buffet meals there was a lot of foot traffic to and fro which could easily result... More

Stayed there for 3 nights last week with a coach party with National Holidays. From the outside the hotel does look quite dismal but once inside we found it ok although quite dated . Our room was a decent size with comfy clean beds and even a trouser press but again the furniture was very dated. One complaint would be... More

This hotel is right in the centre of Coventry and could be something really special, unfortunatly it's not! I had booked an executive room for a business trip, the room was a really good size and, from what I could tell in the poor lighting, really quite clean but it was very, very tired. The leather sofa was together with... More

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Once in a standard room and once in an executive room. The standard rooms had a jacuzzi bath tub which was an interesting touch. The room was fairly spacious, clean, large double bed, desk with a chair and a television. However the furnishing were very dated and worn. The Superior room was quite... More
