Great hotel out from Birmingham after 29 hours travelling from Australia. Quiet well appointed room, soft comfortable bed, dark room will curtains drawn, reasonable size room, all appointments good except no hair dryer, shower excellent,staff friendly and accommodating, meals OK, great little bar called the cellar bar. While location is good and rooms were decent, I was disappointed with service level ond had not the feeling that staff was trying to satisfy costomers. Buffet was emty every occation long before it should have been. Also there was no flex to get one room ready for an early arrival.
