Clean, comfortable, helpful staff. Pub next door, plenty of parking. A little road noise, if you are a really light sleeper then maybe earplugs would help, but generally not too noisy. Good value! recommended!

A good location, and nice car park away from filling stations and industrial estates! The rooms are freshly decorated and first class, and the pub next door sells good beer and fine food. Couldn't want more!
Travelodges are never going to set the world on fire but this one is quiet (perhaps noisier if facing the main road) and obviously well managed. Well located for Chichester, Arundel, Bognor Regis and, of course, Fontwell race course.
This is a former Innkeepers Lodge Hotel actually in the grounds of Fontwell racecourse, not to be confused with the older Travelodge across the road in the service area! We stayed here two nights to visit Arundel, the location was ideal for this as it's only 10 minutes drive, Chichester is also very close.
The room was a little cramped...

We stayed here for 1 night and were allocated a 1st floor room facing the road. The road was a little noisy, so we shut the window. Curtains a little short!
The room was of a good size, and the bathroom had a nice big shower and was clean.
There are no on-site facilities at this particular Travelodge - just...

I would not bother to stay here if I were you, unless you arrive before everyone else, don't forget anything and don't complain.
I stayed at the Travelodge at Fontwell Park in January on the death of my father. Upon arrival we were immediately told that our room have been given away, as they had overbooked, and that I would...

Stayed one night as we were going to Fontwell races. The hotel overlooks the racecourse, so you couldn't be any closer, and there's a great pub next door (where we had both dinner and breakfast). The hotel itself is a bit more upmarket than some of the other Travelodges we've stayed in - nice big shower and LCD TV. Not...

2 Travelodges within minutes of each other so reviews very confusing. Stayed at the older one - Arundel Fontwell Hotel, not Fontwell Park - last week. Having stayed in Travelodges many times, knew what to expect. Have to say however, this one is desperately in need of some TLC. Room very tired looking, a wee bit grubby, WC badly stained...

Everything about this place is fine so long as you have a car, as there is nothing much around apart from the one pub which it shares the site with and the race course which is just a few yards away (which appears to be shut on the days when there isn't a race meeting). There is a petrol station...

This is your usual basic travelodge; it was clean & comfortable, situated on the A27 with a Little Chef/Burger King & Garage on the same site ..8 minutes drive from Arundel & well situated for this part of Sussex.
The staff were helpful, especially as having driven 300 miles & arriving 50mins before the 15.00hrs booking in time they allowed...
