Completely messed up my booking - had no record of it when I rang up a few weeks later, leaving me with nowhere to stay for my friend's wedding. They had no explanation to offer, just feeble apologies. Said they would check whether payment had gone through and let me know, which they didn't. I then had to ring back... More

This pub accommodation was really simple and clean. The location in Chichester is great, close to the centre of town, university and hospital. The only downside is, obviously being at the back of the pub, it can be a little noisy on the weekends. During the week however it was quiet. The included breakfast is also good. I would definitely... More

I've eaten here several times and stopped off for drinks. The atmosphere is always relaxed, the staff attentive and the food of good quality. The courtyard garden is great when the weather is fine, and it's a good place to go with a dog.

Stayed here for two nights and found the place to be everything you could ask forl Although the George and Dragon doesn't have it's own car park, there is a large, cheaply priced one a short walk around the corner by the Festival Theatre. The rooms at the back of the courtyard are extremely comfortable and well furnished. The bed linen... More

If you want a town-centre stay, close to Chichester Theatre and all the shops, this is a great spot. Small but clean and fresh rooms, decent shower and modern bathroom. Super beds and quality bedding in the old converted stable block. The staff are charming and the pub does excllent food. Great breakfasts: with everything from fresh fruit platters to... More

The conversion for the rooms has been really well done and is in keeping with the building. As mentioned previously they close the patio at a reasonable time so you are not disturbed by the pub's customers. The twin room we had was very comfortable and well laid out if a little small, but for the price we were more... More

Overall this is a very good pub accommodation. It fills the gap between boutique hotels and normal rooms. It has the added bonus of being very central which means all the sights of Chichester are close at hand. My wife and I stayed there with our 15 month old for a couple of nights. Accommodation is well priced and represents... More

ThIs is lovely place to come for a meal. We have been many times now and have had nothing but good food and friendly service. I would highly recommend it. Fresh locally sourced foods and so refreshing to eat somewhere other than an Italian or chain restaurant.

We went there for a nice meal before we went to the theatre and were very impressed with the quality of the food as it was superb, the lamb was very tender and succulent, I definitely recommend it. The staff were also very lovely and friendly. Overall a very successful evening.

We stayed here at the beginning of April for 2 nights. First Impressions were good the outside of the pub looked welcoming and modern. The inside was great too. It's modern bit with the little touches of tradition like the open fire places which would be lovely in the colder months. We were fortunate enough too have the lovely weather... More
