We stayed here in April for 2 nights. My husband stays here all the time on business and we joined him for a couple of nights in the school hols. We were given a junior suite, which comprised one large room with a small bedroom down a few stairs and the usual bathroom. The bed was ENOURMOUS! and really comfy.... More

The renovations to the bar and restaurant have made a good hotel into a great hotel. The old bar was really quite pitiful for a Marriott, dated, neglected and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. A place where you didn't want to linger. The bar staff, particularly a young man called Finn were obviously very... More

This is a quality hotel very close to central station tucked away from the main road. On entering the impressive foyer the reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was furnished to a high standard and very clean. The one complaint I have is the air conditioning which is very poor. This meant a hot room an uncomfortable nights... More

The location of this hotel is ideal: 3 mins from the train station and similar into town. The room we had was a standard double. Comfortable bed, good view over the city and good air con. The price of the room is average for a hotel of this stature, but great value for something so central and accessible. The hotel... More

As youd expect from Marriott, this hotel is first class. Rooms are excellent altho a tad on the small side customer service- cannot be fulted in any way from reception to cleaners restraurants- excellent quality of foods and drink but as its central, a lot cheaper going to one of the many local restraurants nearby. Gripe: WIFI cost.

Stayed room only on Friday evening - this being our 3rd stay over the years. Only 5 mins stroll from railway station, superbly located in centre for shop, restaurants and bars. Lovely modern feel to hotel, reception staff welcoming and professional. Room was not ready on arrival, although happy to look after luggage until you return later. Room 354 not... More

Checked in on a rainy afternoon by a very pleasant young lady and went straight out shopping. Came back to the room to get ready for the night out and the room was very welcoming indeed. Everything clean and comfortable. The plumbing could use some attention - the loo flush wasn't very strong, the sink tap a bit stiff (and... More

I visit in Leeds quite a bit, and always stay at the Marriott. The front desk staff are always quick and very friendly. Rooms are huge, and comfy, with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Its also in a great location, just 3 minutes walk from the train station. Room service options are also good, providing decent food right... More

Stayed for one night in March 2012 with a group of friends. The room itself was basic but clean, however, we only stayed for one night so weren't there particularly for the hotel. The hotel is equipped with a small gym and spa also. Good location in the city centre.
