stayed here two nights and that was enough. the hotel needs a LOT of money spent on it - there's potholes in the carpark that would damage the bottom of your car if you went into them, the lift is broken, the rooms are shabby and the heater in the room didn't work. the reception staff, while competant weren't overly... Please note this Hotel is not to be confused with the Britannia Hotel, Near Leeds Airport. Britannia has now two Hotels in Leeds the one being reviewed was only taken over by Britannia Hotels in late January from the Ramada/Jarvis Hotel chain. The Hotel is situated on the ring road and although being on a main road does not suffer... More

The rest of our family had booked a table for Mothers Day lunch & we called the morning of the visit & asked whether we could be added onto the table. The woman on the phone was quite rude & clearly couldn't be bothered dealing with my request, I could tell she wasn't interested & we debated whether or not... More

The hotel is now part of the Britannia chain as Ramada went into administration last September. We thought it had only just been taken over as all the signage was still ramada apart from a flag outside, pleased we had a picture so we knew we were in the right place. Hotel is on roundabout of A64 - quite noisy... More

Stayed here whilst having treatment @ the nearby seacroft hospital! Never again the 1st room we were given was soooo bad I wouldn't let a dog sleep in there! It was dirty, shabby & totally stunk of smoke! Not very pleasant at all. We asked for another room which was a tad better but still dirty in the bathroom. The... More

The double room, en-suite (Bath and Shower) was generally clean, but the glasses in the bathroom were dirty. One had the remainder of what looked like somebody’s mouthwash. We rinsed and used the other one and left both the glasses in the room away from their designated location. Following the maid service the morning after, they were both replaced to... More

Great for accessing the nearby Seacroft Hospital, about a 5 minute drive away. This is the only reason I might be swayed to go back. The hotel us still signed as Ramada, despite having been taken over by Britannia. It is very tired and shoddy looking. Very 70s, think Crossroads Motel! Especially in the rooms and corridors. The staff were... More

Stayed in September 2011 for one night. There was a private party going on in the hotel, and the reception staff did warn and apologise in advance in case of noise til 1am. However, when I got to the room I could not hear anything from the party. Coupled with a comfortable bed, it made for a very relaxing night's... More

Also known as the Windmill as the modern building is built around and embedded into an old windmill. Booked via Booking.com for only £29 and could find no fault. Standard room that suited my needs perfectly. Large Tesco and other shops in a retail park 5 minutes walk. Taxi to Leeds City center was around £10 each way.

The outside appearance of this hotel really doesn't do the interior, the catering or the staff any favours. The car park was scruffy, largely unlit and depressing. Having said that, the staff were excellent, the food was far better than i expected - a fairly limited repertoire, but prepared with real care and attention to detail - and the place... More
