The rooms are clean, the service is exemplary, the breakfast is faultless only the fixtures and fittings are a bit tired. I will return to Byways House as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in every respect.

Byways House is perfectly situated to explore the medieval city of Salisbury on foot! There is a free car park which is very handy ... especially if you stay in room 16 as there are French Doors, which lead right into it! Breakfast was very tasty (great Wiltshire sausages) and service was speedy and friendly. The house itself backs on... More

This is a really wonderful place to stop on route through the South of England. Byways House is a clean, comfortable & friendly place. Bigger than the average B & B and a bit more professioanlly run too. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, the dining & lounge areas lovely, plus ther's a gorgeous garden area open to guests. We... I stayed at Byways for three weeks. It was excellent value and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout. The breakfast was substantial, cereals with yoghurt etc or full English or S/Salmon and Scrambled egg. (No supplementary £3). I would highly recommend if you're in Salisbury for the weekend or working during the week. Plenty of parking.

Me and my mum stayed here whilst my dad was in nearby hospital having major surgery and we couldn't have stayed somewhere better. We were both so worried about dad, we needed a hassle free stay and that's what we had. The hotel was lovely, the staff and owner was very friendly and so accommodating and compassionate. To go through... More

I stayed one night on Dec 6th while travelling England for 3 months from Australia, for an early morning private acess tour of StongeHenge and it was just perfect. Recently stayed at this B&B for 5 days. Overall clean and very comfortable B&B managed by a lady with French accent and what seem to be her children or very young staff. Pros: Close to town center and well run. Cons: Heating was turned off after 9pm and did not come on again until 6am, cooked breakfast seemed heated in... More

When I pulled into the Hotel (B&B) drive, I realised that I had stayed here before. As before, this was a good value venue, and it has a lot going for it. It's not plush, but at £75 for an executive double room for the night, it was excellent value. The room was clean, of a good size, reasonably well... More
