Had a wonderful anniversary night in lovely big bed with sumptuous sheets. The pool area is a great setting and feels like a world away, especially in the brilliant sunshine. Breakfast on the sun terrace was a very relaxing way to start a Saturday followed by a swim and lounge around.

My daughter treated me to a day at the spa for my birthday. We had a brilliant day, very relaxing, on arrival we were given robes and slippers and a tour of the spa area. The pool is really nice and on the outside bit was really warm water and a hydro jet at the end of the pool which... More

My husband and I stayed here last night, quick one night getaway without the kids. It was lovely from start to finish. It was very quiet, which was great, stayed in room 14, bathroom lovely size with everything in it, nice room with a comfortable queen bed, freeview tv. There wasn't facilities to make tea or coffee, which from other... More

Today I wanted to book two rooms for two nights in June. The hotels's own website wasn't up to the job, so I telephoned. A charmless individual with obvious pretentions to grandeur answered, then put me on hold while he dealt with other telephone queries - I could hear everything he said. When he got back to me, he told... More

the hotel looks fab, the staff were very professional, however down points, the room was v hot and not able to turn radiators down. The aircon was v noisy so didn't have the best night sleep. no tea and coffee making facilites in the room and a pot of tea for one to order was £4.50!!! Restaurant food was good... More

Slightly disappointing room. Very old fashioned. We got a good deal on booking.com. Nice spa and pool inside and outside. Small but decent. Restaurant food overpriced but good. Staff were helpful and professional. Not a 5 star hotel by any means. But worth a visit if you get a good deal.

We stayed he for a spa weekend recently and had a great time. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the service was great too. The Spa is...... well interesting! A rainforest shower appears to be cold-ish shower with a loudspeaker playing rainforest storm sounds! Worth a punt of anyone's money.

Nice hotel but nothing special ! the grounds reception bar etc are just ordinary. My room 108 was ok but not 5 star no tea making facilities and i love a cuppa in a morning. Also do like nice food but on Saturday night just fancied something light and simple but nothing available. Bathroom was very very small. The spa... More

I contribute regularly to trip advisor reviews and rarely give poor ratings but this is going to be one of them! Whilst there were many good things to enjoy at this spa hotel, my husband and I came away with a negative feeling about the hotel and would not go back. The good points: the spa, though small had a... More

Dear Mrs Tait, I am very surprised you have written a review as we have not spoke at all. For guests reading this, the room in question is used day in day out with no complaint about the bed. You initial room move was made within five minutes of you checking in and you were offered two other rooms with... More

Booked a last minute spa break with my daughter and shared a room overnight. The spa was wonderful - and on a Monday evening we had it to ourselves. Wonderful to be able to swim from indoor pool into outdoor area which is even warmer. Fabulous as the moon was up too. To then go from pool into the best... More
