Excellent and very interesting hotel. Though large the hotel had a very welcoming service. Check in was smooth and we were greeted warmly by the concierge who also took our suitcases to the room. Our East Wing room was a good size and in a good condtion decor wise. Stayed here for a family wedding in March. Hotel is really lovely with lots of character. Wedding reception was superb and food delicious, could not fault anything. Room was perfectly adequate although we felt that the bathroom could have done with an upgrade. Lovely breakfast and a super walk along the river in the March sunshine the next morning!

Fantastic service. We were lucky to be given an upgrade to a suite which was very grand. Disappointing breakfast, we have stayed at the hotel before and certainly had an impressive breakfast previously so a little disappointed. Beautiful grounds.
