The other reviews say it all. Wonderful house, great rooms, spotlessly clean, great views from the sitting room. Ruth makes you feel at home from the first minute with tea and cake. Breakfasts superb, ate so much we didn't (couldn't) eat until the evening! You must try the coffee and walnut cake if offered! Having stayed we wouldn't consider staying... More

From Ruth's broad smile when we arrived to the hugs when we left, our weekend at the Old Croque was a joy. I won't repeat all that's already been written. Suffice to say our experience was as described by other guests. We had a great weekend despite poor weather and having 'The Old Croque' to come home to each evening meant everything. Ruth and Ian are kind and professional in equal measures and the accommodation outstanding. I'd challange anyone to sit on... More

Located on the main road through Malvern Wells. Very well placed for walking in the Malvern Hills, which was what we needed. Very nice welcome with tea and home made cake. Nice double room, with compact but serviceable en-suite. Breakfast was a highlight, particularly the choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt and preserves. Very good full english with excellent home made... More

What a gem this lovely Victorian B & B is. Our room was at the back of the house with fantastic views towards the three counties showground. The room was very nice and spacious. The whole place was charming and in character, with some quirky items around, that will make you smile. Ruth made us feel very welcome with tea... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Croque. Ruth made us feel very welcome and comfortable within her home. Rooms were well decorated and clean with lovely views, and within good walking distance to Perseverance Hill and the Worcestershire Beacon. Breakfast was also top class, along with delicious homemade bread and a wonderful array of jams and homemade marmalades!... More

I have been visiting the Old Croque for several years now, always in unforgiving chilly February . Ruth has created a truly warm and genuine home from home for her visitors and is the most delightful host with a gift for understanding what her guests need. I travel a great deal and have never had a more friendly welcome anywhere.... More
