When we first got to the room the carpet was very dirty with hairs all over the place. We asked and got it cleaned: staff were very helpful. From then on everything improved. The bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Wi-fi reception in the room was fine. Breakfast was exceptionally good with excellent ingredients.

This was our second time in a year staying at this guest house. Sunday lunch by way of carvery. Food was nicely cooked and tasty. The waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful. However the event was spoiled by the scruffiness of , I presume, one of the bosses, although she was very welcoming.

If your near to this B&B stay there. Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent food and nothing is too much trouble. They will go out of their way to please. Also a lovely view. They have a restaurant and conservatory, also they do excellent Sunday carvery's

I really don't understand the criticisms levelled at this guest house. Having (rather stupidly) read them after booking, I was a little apprehensive about staying but on arrival there were absolutely no problems.
