We stayed here for one night in May. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom as luxurious as most 5star hotels. The breakfast was lovely with really delicious toast. I believe it is run by a perfectionist as everything was very high quality.

A comfortable guest house at the quiet end of the seafront of Aberystwyth. Despite this it's only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and very picturesque. I stayed in one of the single rooms with shared facilities. The room was comfortable and cosy, it looks as if it's been newly refurbished. The bathroom has been done to a...

This wasn't our first choice for B&B, but it should've been, as we relocated here after issues with another Guest House. Yr Hafod is beautifully presented, clean, located at the quiet end of the Promenade, but still just a few minutes walk from the Town Centre and just a few steps from the beach. The host was very attentive and...

Could stay only one night (sadly) but this has got to be the best B&B in Aber. Spotlessly clean, modern bathrooms, brilliant Welsh breakfast, and a welcome as warm as the rooms themselves. This place is a gem. Take a room overlooking the bay and you'll see sunsets and seascapes to match the best anywhere in the world. Just brilliant....

Brilliant stay here, eveyone was so welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless, and had everything we required. Breakfast was lovely, the service was excellent and I would definately recommend a visit and will be staying here again!!
Stayed here with my partner in Sept. This has to be one of the best places I have stayed in!. The rooms are spotless, comftable and well maintained. The TV is great. We had a great sea view as well. Parking is fairly easy to find close by. John is a great host, and there is a good choice of...

I still have fond memories of our stay at Yr Hafod. The view from our room of a stormy sea was incredible.
John went out of his way to make us comfortable. One morning I was too ill to come down for breakfast, so he sent up a tray.
We have been away too long and are starting again to...

I have visited the YR Hafod on and off for over 25 years and not once have I been disappointed! It has however been at least 6 years since I last visited but I can honestly say that John has not changed, (perhaps we have both aged though!) he cares for his guests and ensures that everyone is comfortable and...

I stayed here for one night midweek in early September. This was a practical overnight stop while travelling from North Wales to Pembrokeshire.
Located directly on the seafront in a pleasant location, near to the town centre, and about 10-15 minutes walk from the railway station.
I booked a single room for £32 including breakfast. Booked directly by email. This...

Wonderful place to stay. The room was very spacious and the en-suite Perfection. John is very friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast. The room had everything we needed, tea, coffee etc. even biscuits and chocolates as well as all the toiletries. The widescreen television was a lovely surprise. We will definitely book again if we are in the county again.
