I recently stayed at this Hotel whilst attending a Family wedding in the area. I could not fault the staff or hotel, the staff were all very friendly and attentive nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and even with a zed bed in the room for my 8yr old. The views were spectacular from both the room... More

Due to unfortunate circumstances we were forced to book into the Llanwenarth Hotel & Riverside Restaurant as we could not get any other accommodation, I would like to thank those party goers who booked everything else, my lovely wife and I had a wonderful stay. We didn't arrive until late having seen friends before arrival, we were met with a... More

Stayed for 3 nights ( dinner bed & breakfast) with friends to do some walking in the area in April 2013. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and to respond to requests, nothing was too much trouble. Room had a lovely balcony and magnificent view over the stunning valley, weather didn't match it... Arrived without a reservation on a beautiful spring day.Immediately made very welcome and ushered into pleasant dining room with spectacular views over the river valley below. Good value menu with excellent choices. Service was friendly and efficient. Food very well prepared and appetizing. One small criticism was a portion of Melba toast or bread with the Chicken roulette would have... More

Stayed at the Llanwenarth Hotel a few weeks ago. Friday and Saturday night. Really liked the hotel. The bathrooms are a bit cramped. Go for a room with a balcony overlooking the river and mountains - so lovely in the morning. There was snow on the mountains when we were there.. We ate at the hotel on one of the... More

What a fabulous view out of my first floor bedroom, looking out over the River Wye and mountains beyond. It was covered in snow the 4 nights I stayed there but this made the view even better if anything! The bedroom was clean and very comfortable with everything you'd expect. The only minor issue is that the desk space is... More

I have to say that this is one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. We wanted a long weekend in the Brecon Beacons and after doing a little research and reading the reviews on Tripadvisor went for 3 nights here. Our room wasn't the biggest we've ever had, but it was very comfortable, cosy and quiet -... More
