A group of us booked into the Guest house as we came to Wales on a motorbike tour. The B&B was clean and friendly and the breakfast was awesome. Rooms were cosy with all the facilities that you could need. The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us with the local restaurants and amenities. With secure parking for motorbikes I... More

Very warm welcome by Kevin, cosy room with a lot of details and - of course - the best breakfast made by Jenny!!!! The poached eggs... Hm, a delight! We enjoyed our short stay, thank you! (If anybody doesn´t like animals: this won´t be the right place for you... We enjoyed the parrots, the cats, the dogs, the chicken....)

My daughters (adult) and I stayed overnight at "The Guest House" recently. This was our first visit to "The Guest House" and Jenny and Kevin couldn't have made us more welcome. From the moment we stepped through the door, they insisted we use first names which made us feel like part of the family. The Guest House was very comfortable,... More

Sent the boys here, on a contract in Abergavenney. Only got to stay one night then booked them in elsewhere. We're screaming to come back here .Excellent rooms, excellent breakfast, excellent owners - only downfall - won't adopt the boys. Come on Jenny you know you want to!! Thanks for letting them in again this week!!

We stayed in the Punch Bowl room - very comfy and clean with some delightfully kitsch nick-naks. The owners Jenny and Kevin were really friendly, as were cats and parrots who came to say hello during breakfast (this B&B might not be a great choice if you don't like animals!). The food was great, especially the eggs and the fruit... More

Easy to find in a quiet location and in walking distance to the town centre. "The Guest House" immediately gives you a sense of warmth and character as you pull up outside. Jenny & Kevin are fabulous hosts with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. There are maps of the local area with recommended places to eat and visit.... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights with J&K. They run an excellent B&B with a friendly and fun family atmosphere. Room and food were first class, with a marvellous choice of breakfasts. Jenny's poached eggs must be tried, they are perfection. Just a short walk to town which offers many interesting sights. We intend to return. Ken Miller

Very close to town and local walking routes and a splended range of foods on offer for breakfast which include organic eggs(produced on site), jams. Knowledgable and friendly hosts with an array of local animals which I found a lovely treat.

I had a book deadline looming and was unable to concentrate at home so my fiance and I spent a wonderful couple of days at The Guest House in Abergavenny. We were accompanied - as always - by our little german Spitz, Ted, and were slightly concenred about whether he would be welcome. If he wasn't, we weren't going to... More

Rooms are basic and spotlessly clean. The tea and coffee facilities in the room are second to none and the extras that go with these are well above what is expected. Breakfast is the standard of a five star hotel - probably better. We adore animals but if honest, am not sure they should be wandering around the breakfast area,... More
