Very welcoming, especially as we booked online at short notice. Lovely room and bathroom, including hot water bottles and tasty flapjack! Not to mention a selection of DVDs and books to borrow (TV plays DVDs). Very homely place to stay and would definitely recommend, especially as it's so central.

We were very close to all the other B&Bs and restaurants along the main road in town. We loved this quaint little town, close to hiking, biking and beautiful scenery. The Fairhaven was smallish, but our top level room (room 12) was very clean and quaint. Room 12 is smaller than other rooms, but we got it for only £60... More

We stayed at The Fairhaven for one night and it was very nice. Simon showed us around, but didn't over do it. The room was very nice (room 12) and the village itself is nice to wander around. We would definitely stay again.

This was a dissapointing stay at this old tired B&B. The entrance hall is drab and dismal. . Although the rooms are clean, the day was cold and our room was at the back of the building and the central heating was not turned on to accomodate this. Our pillows were old and flat, we had two pillows each each... More

Stayed there for 4 days and really enjoyed it. First 2 days were in room 8 which we had been informed was small before booking (which was all a bit last minute so we were thankful of it). It was nice enough. Simon informed us that a larger room was coming available on the 3rd day and we asked to... More

Stayed 2 nights in room 6- nicely decorated with lots of space & comfy double bed. ;-) B&B is on main Holyhead road so bit noisy during day with traffic(room at front) but much quieter later on, even with window open. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast with lots different choices ( full Welsh breakfast/eggs benedict/pancakes etc). No parking at b&b but... More

We only spent there one night and had to move out following a very cold night. As one of the other reviewers pointed out, they only turn on heating at certain times of day and only for a short period. Top floor seems to be worst affected. The owners offered an array of small heating devices (some quite noisy), but... More

This bed and breakfast was in a great location, great views, nice room, and a delicious breakfast. The lady who ran it was friendly and the only complaint I would have would apply only in winter. Our trip was in late November, and thus it was quite cold outside, but the heat in our room was only on about 4... More

This was a great choice for B&B in Betws-y-coed. Centrally located in the village - easy reach of local shops and restaurants. Rooms were a little on the small side but we found it nice and cosy for our week's stay. Good location also as a "launch pad" to exploring Snowdonia - e.g. Snowdon and Try fan were within 30... More

Stayed for a couple of nights March 2009. Location is great, right in the centre of Snowdonia. Guest house is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms are a good size and well decorated, and furnished nicely. Excellent breakfast wide a good range of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, porridge, juice and full cooked breakfast. The only drawback is the lack of parking. You... More
