Had an evening meal approx 6:30 on a Saturday evening. Mixed grill & steak/ale pie, raspberry & lemon pastry with lemon ice cream.Both meals were excellent. Good value at £40 with couple of drinks. Would use again

Lovely food and great value for money.. and great service. we were made to feel welcome and felt confortable with the baby. Love views across the national park, we had a sunday lunch and wpuld certainky reccomend it and will be sure to return!

We really appreciate finding pubs & accomodation which are dog friendly. The Pont y pair bar meals were really big portions, beautifully presented, good quality food and reasonably priced given the size of portion. Really liked the neat touch of french bread with the meal. The staff were both attentive and polite. We look forward to returning.

Recently spent a week in Snowdonia on a walking holiday with our two Golden Retrievers. Really disappointed at the number of pubs displaying No Dog signs on the entrance until we came across this gem. I've eaten here many times and the food is always excellent. always fresh food with plenty of choice to suit all needs. Sunday lunch is always superb and the Duck with cannelloni is well worth a try, also there is a wide choice of real ale and reasonably priced wine.

We stayed here over the weekend of 25th Jan 13 for a walking holiday in Snowdonia. The weather was atrocious but the Hotel was excellent.
