We took two classes from school to Swallow Falls and the staff were friendly and very accommodating to over 50 children. The beds were comfy, rooms were warm and all had en suite and the location is great. The cooked breakfasts are wonderful! We will definitely be going there again.

Our room which was at the back looked like an extension of youth hostel, It was a bit damp. There was brown muddy water coming from the shower to begin with. The breakfast was also not that great. Fried bread anyone? The location is close to Swallow Falls which is good. Compared to the price we paid in spite of... More

The single en-suite room i had was at the front of the hotel. it was large for a single room as was the bathroom. Although it was on the main road i did not find the traffic noise disturbing even though i had my window open. i found it to be a nice quiet place to stay and for the... More

Just spent 3 nights in the hotel. A little disappointed that the hotel room was not in the picture of the hotel on their website. the hotel room was at the back in what can be described as looking like a "motel". there was a dreadful smell of sewers outside the door to the room but not inside. In saying... More

I can't comment on any other part of this hotel's other facilities, but their campsite is at best, poor. Their reception staff, also left a lot to be desired. Welcoming it certainly wasn't. We didn't really get off to a great start at check-in, when a surly women asked us if we were going to be rowdy. If we had... More

It would seem that this reviewer has a problem with providing a deposit for noise disturbance. Experience from years past has now obliged us to ask for this deposit for any groups. It would be unfair to discriminate on the basis of age - and there have been incidents where more mature people have caused problems - so we therefore... More

We spent a fantastic long weekend in one of the family rooms behind the main complex. The location is great, and the accommodation is both clean and comfortable. The Staff are also very good (which if like us you have a disabled son cannot be taken for granted). The other benefit to Swallow Falls Complex is that they also allow... More

We were taking part in a fund raising climb and many of us chose to stay here. A lovely room pine four poster, very clean. The accomodation was ideal for groups with a lounge area and a meeting room. We chose to spend the evening in the Tavern (upstairs) where we had tables put together to accomodate us all. Food... More

We stopped over here after a family wedding in Northop. How impressed were we, very, booking in, easy, polite, straight forward. This place is multi faceted, it has bunkhouses, campsite, lodges, good bars, eating areas, a real tardis. extremely interesting, and bang opposite the Swallow Falls itself. The staff are fantastic and work extremely hard, the owners should be very proud...
